This is the smaller Pala chest—the one that works when you want real drawer space, but you don’t want a big, heavy block in the room. Sarah & Henrik Böttger keep the lines simple and the details practical.

You get three drawers with a clear logic. The top drawer is shallower and includes a divider for the smaller stuff that usually ends up floating around. The two lower drawers take the bulkier things—folded tees, sweaters, linens, cables—whatever you want out of sight. The top edge has a narrow recessed trough. It’s useful in a daily way: keys, glasses, a watch, a pen. It also gives you a clean spot to lean a small frame or print, so the top stays usable.
