A simple upgrade to the everyday shower sponge, the Natural Grass Sea Sponge from Public Goods is harvested from the waters of the Bahamas and hand-cut to preserve the sponge’s ability to regrow. Measuring approximately 4 inches, it has a naturally porous texture that creates a rich lather while providing gentle exfoliation.

Unlike synthetic shower poufs, the sea sponge contains no plastic fibers and is fully biodegradable. Its irregular form, warm natural color, and tactile surface also make it an appealing object to leave beside the bath rather than something that needs to be tucked away.

Wet the sponge thoroughly before use and pair it with a favorite body wash or soap. After showering, rinse well, gently press out excess water, and hang or place it somewhere with good airflow to dry. With proper care, a natural sea sponge can be used for several months.
