Reminiscent of a tree branch, the Fredericia Nara Coat Stand refines the beauty of nature with an elegant expression. Created by Shin Azumi, this essential home accessory has a sculptural silhouette that maximizes its visual impact with an organic shape. The coat stand incorporates off-cuts from chair production, making Nara as eco-friendly as it is beautiful. Several “branches” on each side provide room for coats, bags, hats, scarves, and other items, offering an elegant way to organize and store accessories. Shin Azumi

Shin Azumi was born in 1965 in the Japanese city of Kobe. After earning his MA from the Royal College of Art in 1994, he initiated his career with the design unit 'AZUMI.' By 2005, he launched his own design office, 'a studio,' in London, later relocating to Tokyo in 2016. Azumi is currently a professor at Hosei University's Faculty of Engineering and Design.
