Description
From special occasions to everyday use, the Mono Ellipse Teapot does its duty with a graceful elegance and optimal efficiency. That’s because designer Tassilo von Grolman created this teapot not only with a beautiful silhouette and simple geometric elements, but also with an ingenious large strainer that lets the aroma of tea leaves bloom. Created after meticulous research and experimentation in collaboration with German glass manufacturing specialists, this teapot has an unconventional shape: cylindrical at the top and then tapered into an elliptical form at the bottom. Inside, the oversized stainless steel strainer optimizes the release of flavors from the tea leaves. An angular steel handle and a lid with a rounded knob complete the design. Like other Mono products, the Ellipse Teapot is made to last from high-quality materials: 18/10 stainless steel and heat-resistant borosilicate glass. Finally, a silicone bottom protects table surfaces. A separate warmer from the same collection is also available.
