Created by the early 20th-century inventor Curt Fischer, this lamp is born from careful research into improving factory lighting. After realizing that overhead lighting cast disruptive shadows on workers’ surfaces, Fischer conceived the first-ever articulating lamp. This adjustable masterpiece, suitable for wall or desktop placement, can also feature an optional asymmetrical rotatable shade to protect users from direct light.
Despite the trials of war and economic depression, Midgard’s heritage endured, finding revival in 2014 under the stewardship of collector David Einsiedler and his partner Joke Rasch. Committed to preserving the brand’s legacy, they breathed new life into Midgard using original factory tooling and machinery and faithfully adhering to decades-old designs and materials.

Gessato Design Store proudly offers Standard Delivery.
Delivery: Our standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of your residence or the dock of a commercial building. Our dedicated delivery team will carefully transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your premises (front porch, garage, etc.)
What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris.
