Created by award-winning designer Tom Dixon in a collaboration with Swedish design collective FRONT, the Melt Pendant Smoke is an organic lighting object that captivates at first sight. The polycarbonate shade has an irregular form to resemble a naturalistic object. Reminiscent of molten glass, the pendant also features a translucent smoke finish and a polished surface that enhance the striking design further. When turned on, the light seemingly offers a glimpse into deep space or into a mysterious icy landscape. This pendant light has a width of 18.9in and comes with a clear cable. Other versions of this design are also available.

Tom Dixon

Born in Tunisia in 1959, British designer Tom Dixon moved to the UK in 1963. A self-taught designer, he became well-known in the mid ‘80s thanks to a series of welded furniture made of found and salvaged materials.
