Picture the ghost of a grand Venetian chandelier—every curlicue stripped away until only its steel framework remains, traced in fine welds like a line drawing in space. That’s Tom Dixon’s Lightweight. Eight slender arms shoot out in a starburst, each tipped with a small Murano-glass capsule that softens the lamps to a warm, even glow. Hang it high in a loft or atrium and the open lattice barely interrupts sight-lines; lower it over a dining table and the wiring all but disappears, leaving a floating constellation above the conversation. Made by hand from hundreds of individually cut and soldered rods, the piece bridges old-school metal craft and forward-looking minimalism—equal parts workshop grit and architectural precision. Switch it on and light ricochets through the geometry, throwing angular shadows that shift as you move around the room. Switch it off and you’re left with a sculptural silhouette that feels surprisingly airy for something this unapologetically large.

What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris.
