Description
Lamparaprima can sit on a table or hang directly from a wall, giving a remarkably small lamp several ways to be used. Pete Sans designed the original in 1979 after experimenting with a bent clothes hanger, eventually arriving at the slender metal structure and rotating visor that define the lamp today.
The current edition updates the electrical system while keeping that original idea intact. A transparent glass LED tube runs through the metal structure, while the small visor-like diffuser rotates to direct the 350-lumen light toward a desk, book, bedside area, or wall surface.
The lamp also uses its light source as the switch: gently rotate the tube to turn it on or off. There is no separate switch interrupting the structure.
At only 9.8 inches wide and 7.5 inches high, Lamparaprima works particularly well where a conventional table lamp takes up too much room. Leave it on a shelf or desk, use it beside the bed, or mount it to the wall when surface space is limited. The lamp remains corded in either configuration. The included 6W LED module produces warm 2500K light with a CRI of 90. Designed for dry indoor locations only.
