Knot provides a twist on classic candle design. Literally. Created by Rotterdam-based designer Lex Pott, the Knot candle re-interprets the traditional vertical form as a curving and bending silhouette. This paraffin wax candle references the flexibility of wax during the manufacturing process. Here, the designer created a dual candle design from one piece of wax with a twisting base. As a result, the Knot candle doesn’t require a flat base and stands on its own. To use, light up both wicks and place the sculptural candle on a non-burning, flameproof surface. Fun and creative, this candle is perfect as a housewarming gift.

Lex Pott was born in 1985 in Hilversum, the Netherlands. He graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2009 and established his eponymous design firm the same year.
