The J186 Hesbjerg Chair is a thoughtful take on Nordic design—quiet, inviting, and made to last. Designed by Unit10 and crafted from oiled oak veneer with a woven paper cord seat, it’s a piece that carries its own presence without demanding attention. The form is simple but nuanced, with subtle curves in the backrest and arms that make it just as comfortable as it is composed.

Intended as a dining chair, it suits daily meals and long dinners alike, but its clean geometry makes it just as at home in a hallway, bedroom, or reading nook. The name “Hesbjerg” comes from a hilltop in North Zealand where generations of the designers’ family have gathered—fitting for a chair that’s quietly rooted in time and place.
