Description
Inspired by the traditional Japanese tetsubin and handcrafted using age-old techniques, the Imono Kettle is ready to give more flavor to your tea making ritual. Designed by Chushin Kobo founder Hisanori Masuda, the kettle offers a modern take on the rustic cast iron kettles of the past. Blending tradition and contemporary design, the kettle has a timeless aesthetic and character. It features a cast iron body and an oak plywood handle, creating a play between textures and colors. This kettle is designed specifically for the process of boiling water for the tea ceremony. The uncoated interior allows the iron core to alter the properties of the water, giving it a sweeter taste. The Imono Kettle is suitable to use with gas fire and electric hobs. Crafted by hand in the Yamagata prefecture, Japan.
