This innovative, award-winning design reimagines the classic pencil sharpener as an elegant, easy to use tool that protects the graphite and can file even soft pastels or makeup pencils. Crafted from solid brass with a hand-finished mirror polish, Høvel is not only elegant but has a pleasantly weighted body which makes it a joy to handle. Additionally, the material will develop a patina with use to gain more character and charm.
As practical as it is ingenious, the Høvel pencil sharpener features a clamp that allows you to adjust the carbon steel blades for deeper or finer cuts, without breaking the lead of the pencil. A thumbscrew provides an easy way to replace the blades when needed. Apart from working with wood-cased pencils of any shape and softness, including charcoal and pastels, the Høvel can easily help you make long, short or flat points. This pencil sharpener comes packaged in a recyclable box with a set of 10 replacement blades. A walnut base and a leather sheath for the Høvel are available separately.

Gessato Design Store proudly offers Standard Delivery.
Delivery: Our standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of your residence or the dock of a commercial building. Our dedicated delivery team will carefully transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your premises (front porch, garage, etc.)
What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris.
