This wood salt and pepper mill is defined by its tall, cylindrical shape and clear sense of proportion. Designed by Aaron Probyn, it brings a strong vertical presence to the table without feeling decorative or precious. The form is simple, the balance feels right in the hand, and the height makes it easy to spot and use while cooking or serving.
Made from sustainably sourced hardwood—maple for the natural finish and ash for the black and poppy red versions—the mill uses a durable ceramic grinding mechanism suited for both salt and pepper. The color is applied by staining rather than coating, allowing the wood grain to remain visible and tactile. It’s sold individually, not as a pair, and designed to be used daily rather than stored away.

Gessato Design Store proudly offers Standard Delivery.
Delivery: Our standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of your residence or the dock of a commercial building. Our dedicated delivery team will carefully transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your premises (front porch, garage, etc.)
What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris. Cancellation Policy:
We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel an order, please inform us within 48 hours. Regrettably, we cannot accept cancellations for custom-made items after 48 hours.
