Designer
Aaron Probyn is a British product designer based in East London. He runs a studio (founded 2012) that develops tableware, lighting, and home goods for production. Ideas move from quick mock-ups and 3D prints to tooling trials, with profiles and thicknesses tuned so pieces sit well in the hand and stack, pour, or wash the way they should. Before opening the studio he designed at Habitat, Conran, and Tom Dixon; recent clients include The Conran Shop, IKEA, Heal’s, ABC Carpet & Home, Normann Copenhagen, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, and Waterford. Materials—glass, stoneware, metal, wood—are chosen for long service and straightforward recycling. In 2020 he introduced an own-label line made with selected factories, keeping production practical and pricing within reach.
