Reversible iron planter with a rust patina—flip for two planting depths. Outdoor-ready with a drainage hole and rubber cap. Sizes XS–L.

Description

Hourglass is a planter with an old-foundry feel and a very modern trick: you can flip it. One side gives you a deeper vessel for roots that like room; turn it over and you get a shallower profile that suits smaller plants or tighter compositions. Either way, the form stays the same—wide mouth, narrowed waist, and that grounded base that makes it look good on a terrace even before anything is planted.

It’s made from iron with a rust-like patina and treated for outdoor use. There’s a drainage hole with a rubber cap, so you can control runoff depending on where it’s sitting. Outside, the surface will continue to shift naturally with weather; in freezing conditions, it’s best brought indoors. An inner pot is recommended.

    Product description

    • Weight large: 14.55 lbs or 6.6 kg
    • Care instructions: Wipe with a damp cloth.
    • Notes: Designed for indoor and outdoor use. Each pot includes two rubber lids for a tight seal. For outdoor use, remove both lids to allow drainage. We recommend using an inner pot. Over time, the surface will develop a natural patina. Registered design. Once lids are removed, water drains directly onto the surface beneath—consider placement to avoid water damage or staining. If kept outside, place in a sheltered spot (near a wall or under a roof). Bring indoors during freezing weather and always empty excess water to help prevent rusting.
