Designed by Lluís Porqueras in 1979, the Funiculi Lamp makes a triumphant comeback in a refreshed design that retains the simple elegance of the original. The Marset Funiculi Fabric LED Table Lamp features a textile conical shade instead of the semi-spherical metal shade. The name references to a “funicular” motion, indicating that the lamp is conveniently adjustable in height. Refined and elegant, the lamp’s new polyester shade allows the light to filter through, creating a soft lighting effect. Made of lacquered iron, the base and stem both have a black finish that contrasts the white or sand colored shade. A rubber material on the base ensures perfect stability while also protecting table surfaces. This lamp is also available in a wall and floor version.
