A creative design that looks more like a decorative object than practical lighting. Designed by Tom Dixon, the Fade Chrome Pendant combines different transparencies and finishes in a simple yet captivating design. The tear drop shape and narrow opening focuses the light on a smaller spot, which transforms the pendant into an oversized, elegant spotlight. Made of polycarbonate, the shade features a metallized chrome finish with a gradient surface. While on the top the shade has a mirror-like surface, the surface gradually becomes transparent along the body of the warm light. This large pendant measures 11.8 inches in width, so it can be used on its own in small and medium-sized rooms, or in a configuration of several pendants in large, open-plan areas.

Tom Dixon

Born in Tunisia in 1959, British designer Tom Dixon moved to the UK in 1963. A self-taught designer, he became well-known in the mid ‘80s thanks to a series of welded furniture made of found and salvaged materials.
