Balance, architecture, and Alpine woodworking traditions. All of these elements come together in the Billiani Edelweiss Dining Chair. Designed by Philippe Bestenheider, the chair features an arched backrest that “pierces” the seat in a nod to traditional Alpine furniture. The two parts also create a play between balance and tension. Hexagonal in form, the backrest complements the rounded seat and the sharply angled legs. Made from solid ash wood, the Edelweiss Dining Chair comes with matte lacquer, wood stain, and colored stained finishes. All versions feature protective glides on the bottom of the legs.
