Description
Daydream about your next adventure with the Drifter 978 modern vintage toy car. Inspired by a 1970s cruiser, the truck has a retro-style design and feel that transform it into a veritable decorative piece. A real masterpiece, the Drifter 978 looks almost too cool to play with, although its quality build ensure that it can take part in races alongside the other cars from the Candylab collection. This design features a real waxed canvas top with hand-stitched details, a magnetic surfboard accessory, and a solid beech wood shell. A water based paint and a clear urethane coating complete the design, along with the ABS plastic rims and rubber tires. This hand-assembled car comes in a beautiful old school-style, string tie-down collectors box. Proudly made in Montgomery, Pennsylvania.

My son loves it! And I love it too.
I think it’s a bit pricey but the quality does not disappoint. I absolutely LOVE the magnetic surfboard. The back of the car has slick details – the stop lights are cut at an angle and they are actually red. Love the wood panel idea which reminds you of the 60s cars. It has been the number one played with toy (with the Camper) ever since it arrived.

Super cute, well made. I prefer toys that will last generations, and this seems up to the task. This toy was a fast favorite with our 1 and 3.5 year olds.
