Nikari Detalji Bench

An ode to warm minimalism, the Nikari Detalji Bench combines solid wood and paper yarn in a timeless design. Designers Jenni Roininen and Ritva Puotila created Detalji (“detail” in Finnish) with a blend of textures. Made from solid oak, the bench features a textured “Woodpecker” Woodnotes paper yarn fabric designed by Ritva Puotila. While the seat boasts a tightly woven pattern, the sides feature paper yarn arranged in vertical lines. Like other pieces of furniture from the Nikari collection, the Detalji Bench is beautifully crafted. The sustainably grown wood features a natural oil finish that doesn’t harm the environment, while the paper yarn is spun and woven from uncolored paper in Ostrobothnia, Finland. Thanks to its clean, minimalist aesthetic and natural colors, the bench looks at home in any space.
