About the author: Born in Denmark but spending most of his life in Switzerland, Verner Panton studied with lighting designer Poul Henningsen and worked for architect-designer Arne Jacobsen, both profound influences. Ida Engholm is associate professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Anders Michelsen is associate professor at the University of Copenhagen.
