Sir Kenneth Grange (1929) is one of the most influential and prolific designers in the world. In the 1970s, he co-founded Pentagram, an international design firm that now has offices in the US, UK, and Germany. Over the course of a career that spans more than 50 years, Sir Kenneth Grange has designed many iconic and familiar products. These include Kodak cameras, Parker pens, kettles and food processors for Kenwood, as well as regional Royal Mail post boxes and a re-design of the beloved London black cab. In 2003, he became Design Director of Anglepoise. For the renowned lighting brand, he has designed several lamps, including the Type 75™ lamp. Knighted in 2013, Sir Kenneth Grange has received the Prince Philip Designers Prize, Design Council Awards, and the Gold Medal of the Chartered Society of Designers.
