Together, they assumed the roles of design consultants for Brionvega, leading to the development of a remarkable series of televisions and radios. Alessi was among the prestigious clients that had the privilege of benefiting from Sapper's creative prowess. Throughout his illustrious career, he maintained a strong connection with academia, generously imparting his knowledge to numerous universities as a teacher. The recognition of his exceptional work came in the form of numerous awards, a testament to the ingenuity of his designs. His creations have found a permanent place in the collections of esteemed museums worldwide, securing his legacy in the annals of design history.In 2012, Sapper received the esteemed Merit Cross of the Order of Merit from the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, honoring his extraordinary contributions to the field. Sadly, the world bid farewell to this design luminary on 31 December 2015, but his legacy continues to inspire and influence the design world to this day.
