Marcello Jori, born in 1951, is an Italian artist hailing from Bologna. He earned his degree from DAMS (Drama, Art, and Music Studies) in Bologna and embarked on his artistic journey in 1977. In 1979, a pivotal moment occurred in Jori's career when he painted a self-portrait positioned on a ladder while depicting an angel's fall.
