Born in Chicago, Felicia Ferrone completed an architecture degree at the Miami University, Ohio, before moving to Milan, Italy. Her work as an architect and designer in Milan, alongside leading designers like Antonio Citterio and Piero Lissoni, influenced Ferrone’s creative approach to design. Believing that all aspects of design have an interdependent relationship, the designer began to “blur boundaries” in her work, producing timeless, often whimsical designs that reinvent archetypes. Felicia Ferrone later founded her own studio, the Chicago and Milan-based fferrone design. Ferrone’s work has received many awards, including a Good Design Award, and has been included in the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.
