Transform the act of lighting a candle into a fascinating event with the deer candle from PyroPet. Designed by Thorunn Arnadottir, the Dyri candle has a polygonal silhouette that recreates the shape of a deer, complete with golden antlers. Lighting the candle starts off the process of unveiling the internal skeleton, made from aluminum. After the candle has burned off completely, the user can display the deer skeleton as a shelf or desk sculpture. The name “Dyri” means both “reindeer” and “beast” in Icelandic, alluding to the candle’s hidden metal structure. Made from unscented paraffin wax with a cotton wick, this deer candle has a burning time of approximately 8 hours. Perfect as a gift.
