Rizzoli New York opened the first Rizzoli Bookstore on Fifth Avenue, New York in 1964, followed by a series of bookstores opened across the country. Ten years later, the company launched its publishing operation, ultimately becoming one of the world’s leading publishers of fashion, design, interior design, architecture, art, and photography titles. Rizzoli has also launched the Universe Publishing, Ex Libris, and Rizzoli Electa imprints. Additionally, the company distributes titles from other international publishers through Rizzoli International Publications.
