Description
Small in size yet impossible to ignore, Binic brings a touch of seaside whimsy to desks, night-stands, and reading nooks. Designer Ionna Vautrin grew up on France’s Breton coast, and the lamp borrows both its name and its silhouette from that world: the round head echoes the vents of a ship’s windsock, while the tapered base recalls the lighthouse at Binic harbor.
The two-part body—glossy ABS head, matte polycarbonate base—comes in a fleet of fresh colors, each playing off the soft, even glow that spills from the opaline diffuser. An integrated on/off switch hides on the cord, keeping the 8-inch-tall lamp as clean and sculptural when it’s off as when it’s lit.
Lightweight, cool to the touch, and powered by an energy-saving LED bulb (included), Binic travels easily from workspace to bedside or from a child’s room to a cozy corner of the living room. Wherever it lands, it offers the same welcoming beam—a miniature beacon that turns any spot into a place you’ll want to linger.
