A fun twist on the classic wood stool, Avio has a creative design that unites two halves to form a unitary piece of furniture. Following that theme, the name Avio means “married” in Finnish. Designed by Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake, Avio is elegantly minimalist and imaginative. The rounded seat features two curved sides, while the legs are extra-wide to provide excellent support. Crafted from FSC certified solid oak wood, this stool is made to last a lifetime and to become a family heirloom. Suitable for indoor use only, the Avio oak stool can still be used in more humid areas like a bathroom.

I came across this product while searching for a stool that could double as night stand in my small apartment. I was hesitant at first because I didn’t know Gessato design store although the website looks very legit.
Long story short the stool came in 3 days and it is a STUNNING piece of design and I am very happy. Thank you!
