Based in Stockholm, Hung-Ming Chen and Chen-Yen Wei have founded the Afteroom design studio to create products that are designed with a timeless beauty, to be enjoyed for a lifetime – “design you can grow old with.” This Afteroom Lounge Chair is inspired by the famous ‘Thonet Bentwood Armchair’ and the ‘Spanish Chair’. It offers a contemporary version of those early modernist pieces by paying homage to their lines, but it also brings a new, fresh look that is original and modern. Curved armrests loop around the backrest, angled back legs complement the elegant design, clean lines reveal the beauty of simplicity. The Afteroom Lounge Chair is made from just two materials: powder-coated steel and leather. It comes in Black “Silk” Leather, Black “Dunes” Leather, Cognac “Silk” Leather, and Cognac “Dunes” Leather.
