Description

The Il Coccio Stromboli humidifier explores the concept of balance and stability in an ingenious way. Designer Alfredo Häberli created Stromboli with a secondary object – a counter-balance that attaches to the humidifier and keeps it in place. Located behind the radiator, the ceramic counter-balance remains hidden from sight. As a result, the humidifier looks like it floats in front of the radiator, seemingly without any connecting hardware. A large opening provides an easy way to fill the humidifier and to also see the water level at a glance. Made from ceramic, Stromboli has a smooth white finish and comes with a red rope that links both parts.

Born in 1964 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Alfredo Häberli moved to Switzerland in 1977. He graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the Höhere Schule für Gestaltung in 1991.
