Designed by Sir Kenneth Grange, the Type 80 T1 Table Lamp brings the recognizable profile of the Type 80 collection to a smaller lamp made for desks, nightstands, shelves, and compact workspaces.
The T1 replaces the two-joint arm of the larger Type 80 Desk Lamp with a single sprung joint. The shade can be angled and rotated to illuminate a book, work surface, wall, or surrounding area without moving the base. Cables run through the slender steel structure to preserve the lamp’s uninterrupted outline.
Three versions use the collection’s conical aluminum shade in Matte Black, Grey Mist, or Pale Putty. An opening near the top allows a small amount of light to fall across the outside of the shade, creating the halo effect associated with the Type 80 family. These versions provide concentrated light for reading and everyday tasks.
The Pale Putty version is also available with an opal glass shade. Instead of concentrating the light entirely beneath the lamp, the glass softly illuminates across its surface. This warmer, more diffuse effect is particularly suitable for bedside tables, living spaces, and other settings where ambient light is preferred.
All four versions share a steel arm and base, a CNC-machined anodized aluminum joint, an integrated shade switch, and an adjustable compact form. A warm 2700K E26 LED bulb is included.
