Description
The 25.6-inch Pauline is the counter-height version of OEO Studio’s backless stool, sized for kitchen islands, counters, and hospitality settings. This model replaces the original solid oak legs with a compact black steel base, while retaining an oak section beneath the seat.
The metal frame reduces the stool’s footprint to approximately 14.2 inches square. Horizontal sections of the frame provide a practical footrest without adding a separate ring around the outside of the legs. This makes the stool particularly useful when several seats need to fit along a counter without taking up excessive floor space.
The seat is available in solid oak or with padded upholstery. Choose Grey Hallingdal 65 wool blend, Cream Moss cotton blend, four Spectrum leather colors, or Black Savanne leather. The oak portion is offered in Oiled Oak for a lighter natural tone or Oiled Fumed Oak for a deeper brown finish. On upholstered versions, the chosen wood remains visible around the edge of the seat.
Originally designed in 2017, Pauline was expanded with the steel-frame version in 2019. Each stool is made to order in Denmark. Clean the metal base with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry it thoroughly. Fabric should be vacuumed regularly, while leather should be wiped with a soft, dry cloth and kept away from prolonged direct sunlight.
