Description
The Arkade Dining Chair with Brass Metal Frame brings a 1983 Nanna Ditzel design into production through Brdr. Krüger’s Danish workshop. The chair is built around repeated arcs: curved wood legs, a rounded upholstered seat and back, and a slim metal frame that completes the structure.
This version fixes the metal frame in brass, giving Arkade its warmest and most decorative expression. The brass frame works especially well with leather upholstery, where the metal adds a soft glow against Brandy, Cinnamon, Almond, and Oyster tones. It can also create a sharp contrast with Cream fabric or Black leather, depending on the wood frame selected.
The wood frame comes in three finishes. White-oiled oak gives the chair the palest and cleanest look. Oiled oak has a warmer natural tone. Oiled fumed oak adds depth and contrast, especially with brass and darker upholstery.
For upholstery, choose Cream fabric in Kvadrat Moss 0019 for a softer textile version, or select one of the semi-aniline leather options. Oyster and Almond are lighter leather choices. Brandy and Cinnamon bring warmer brown tones. Black leather creates the strongest contrast with the brass frame.
The brass surface should be handled with care. Brass can change over time, and Brdr. Krüger recommends gentle cleaning with a wrung soft cloth and avoiding harsh liquids or abrasive cleaners.
