Momentum is a small sculpture with real weight. Kristina Dam Studio shapes it by hand from raw light gray sandstone, leaving the grain, texture, and surface variation of the stone visible.

The form is asymmetric rather than frontal. It changes as you move around it, which makes it useful on a console, low shelf, sideboard, bookcase, or pedestal where the object can be seen from more than one angle. At 30 cm high, it has enough height to stand alone, but it is still compact enough to work with books, ceramics, vessels, and smaller objects.

Each sculpture will vary slightly in grain, tone, and surface. That variation is part of the material, not a defect. The piece weighs 8.5 kg, so it should be placed on a stable surface and handled with care.
