Description

The MAKOTO Stoneware Teapot by Blomus is a Japanese-inspired teapot designed by Carsten Gollnick and made in Portugal.

Made from matte-glazed stoneware, the teapot has a low pedestal base, a removable tea strainer, and a metal handle that can stand upright or fold to the side. Silicone details protect the stoneware and make the handle easier to use. With a 980 ml / 33.1 fl oz capacity, it works well for loose-leaf tea, herbal infusions, and serving tea at the table.

The teapot is available in Moonbeam, a textured off-white glaze, and Elephant Skin, a smooth warm gray. Each piece may vary slightly because of the stoneware firing process.

Dishwasher safe. Not suitable for stovetop, microwave, or oven use. Hold the lid lightly while pouring.
