Description
The Ikkuna Wood Pendulum Clock by Interform brings a classic pendulum format into a lighter, more open form. Instead of a closed clock case, Ikkuna uses a wood frame shaped like a small arched window, with a round pendulum that swings visibly through the center.
The design can be used two ways. Hang it on the wall as a pendulum wall clock, or place it on a shelf, console, desk, or mantel as a freestanding clock. The open center lets the wall or objects behind it remain visible, which keeps the clock from feeling heavy despite its height.
A glass face protects the dial, while the wood frame gives the piece a warmer character than a metal pendulum clock. The rounded hour indexes keep the face clear and easy to read. The short hand and pendulum finish change with the frame color, so the Brown and Natural versions each have their own material balance.
Ikkuna uses a sweep movement and a separate pendulum unit. It requires two AA batteries, which are not included. Rechargeable batteries are not supported. A wall-mount wood screw is included; use hardware appropriate to your wall type if installing into drywall, masonry, or any surface that requires anchors.
