Poured, not pressed, Aplomb Large hangs like a single stroke of concrete frozen in mid-air. Designers Lucidi & Pevere cast the 15-inch shade by hand, tinting the mix with mineral pigments so each finish—Warm Grey, Sage Brown, or Deep Anthracite—carries its own subtle grain. A slender steel stem and low-profile canopy leave the material to do the talking.

An integrated 16 W LED (2700 K, 90 CRI) sits deep inside the neck, throwing a focused pool of light onto dining tables, kitchen islands, or gallery counters while the outer surface stays cool to the touch. Hang a single pendant as a sculptural accent or line up three at staggered drops for a rhythmic run of light and shadow. All wiring and finishing take place in Foscarini’s Italian workshop, where the lamp is dimmed and tested before it ships.

Lucidi Pevere

Designers Paolo Lucidi (1974) and Luca Pevere (1977) share roots in Udine and an Industrial Design degree from Politecnico di Milano.
