Designed by Dick Van Hoff for Thomas Eyck in 2007, the Work Lamp is a fine companion for any home or office desk. While Van Hoff produces many of his own designs, this particular one was manufactured by Royal Tichelaar Makkum, where ceramic specialists fired and glazed the base and shade. The craftsmanship shows in the finished lamp, allowing the premium materials to shine.
The minimalist lighting recreates the image of a classic desk lamp in unconventional materials. The quality of the wood and the ceramic subtly shifts the relationship between the user and the lamp so that the latter becomes an indispensable object. Rather than making the product more complicated, the thoughtful design simplifies the lamp, using just cord and natural components such as a wooden neck and a stoneware base and shade. These parts excel in aesthetics and functionality, forming a lamp that will survive both trends and use, illuminating one’s desk for years to come. Delivery: Our standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of your residence or the dock of a commercial building. Our dedicated delivery team will carefully transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your premises (front porch, garage, etc.)
What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris.
