Description

The sculptural Tank line draws inspiration from an interesting source: the silhouettes of scientific and lab glassware. Understated but also decorative, the Tank Ice Bucket Platinum Stripe features hand-applied platinum decals in a bold stripe pattern. The design brings a subtle architectural accent onto the dining table, providing a sophisticated way to serve ice cubes for drinks. A set of tongs is also included, for more convenience. This glass ice bucket looks just as elegant on its own or as a companion to the jug and cup set from the same line. Hand-wash only, without using any abrasive agents that may damage the surface of the glass and platinum decals.

Tom Dixon

Born in Tunisia in 1959, British designer Tom Dixon moved to the UK in 1963. A self-taught designer, he became well-known in the mid ‘80s thanks to a series of welded furniture made of found and salvaged materials.
