Super Normal: Sensations of the Ordinary delves into the world of functional everyday design, trying to expose the secret behind well-designed everyday objects. Written by industrial designers Jasper Morrison and Naoto Fukasawa, the book presents 204 ”super normal” designs – items that are often discrete and inconspicuous, but that would leave us at loss, should they break or go missing. From screwdrivers and buckets to veritable design classics such as the Bialetti coffee maker, the book features a wide range of products from famous designers as well as anonymous authors.
Jasper Morrison and Naoto Fukasawa have compiled 204 everyday objects in search of super normal design: alongside examples of anonymous design, there are design classics like by Jacobsen, Rams, Bill or Noguchi. With products by Newson, Grcic, the Azumis, and the Bouroullecs, it also represents the generation to which Morrison and Fukasawa belong. Delivery: Our standard shipping provides delivery to the front door of your residence or the dock of a commercial building. Our dedicated delivery team will carefully transport the item(s) from the truck to the first available dry, protected area outside your premises (front porch, garage, etc.)
What's Included: Standard delivery includes delivery to the front door. For multi-unit buildings, the order may be delivered inside the entrance to the building, but not to individual apartment doors. In some instances, a signature may be required. Please note, this option does not include inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing debris.
