STRiDA bikes have made an impact on the world of urban commuting ever since they were released in the late 80s in the UK. The portable, belt-driven and folding bicycle was designed to be easy to use and to maintain, but the 5.0 version simplifies the original design further. Lighter than the previous bikes, STRiDA 5.0 Folding Bicycle weighs under 20 lbs and it can be folded or opened in 5 seconds. It’s made with a 7000 series aluminum frame and fork, disk brakes, 16 inch aluminum wheels, reflective Kenda tires, STRiDA special belt drive with 50,000 mile capability, and a single-speed transmission. A convenient rear carrier rack and fenders are also included. Like all the bikes designed by the company, the 5.0 model can be easily folded to either save precious storage space or to be taken on a train or placed inside a car.
