If you’re looking for the perfect gift to surprise someone special, we’ve got you covered. The t.e. 163 Pigeon Service line draws inspiration from the homing pigeons used for espionage missions in WWI. Created by Christien Meindertsma as an art installation in 2014, the pigeons return in a Kvadrat version for the new t.e. (Thomas Eyck) collection. The three-dimensional pigeons are handmade with a strong but flexible Kvadrat woolen fabric and a flax seed filling. Each pigeon comes with a small, rolled-up note attached to the tail to write a secret message. Ultimately, the t.e. 163 Pigeon Service line provides the ideal solution to surprise a loved one with a creative 3D-style “card.” This is the kind of gift that becomes a cherished keepsake.
