Description
The shape is familiar, though its purpose has changed. Konstantin Grcic builds the KG02 Oil Cruet around the silhouette of an inverted funnel, adding a curved handle and a carefully shaped pouring spout. Designed for Alessi, it brings a little of the working kitchen to the dining table.
Its broad conical body narrows into a straight neck, with a slender handle tracing an arc along one side. The mirror finish emphasizes these simple forms, catching reflections across the polished 18/10 stainless steel. It is an object worth leaving within reach, whether you are preparing a meal or passing olive oil around the table.
The details are equally practical. An angled spout helps control the pour, while an integrated drip-catching system collects excess oil. A removable steel cap covers the spout between uses, and the assembly includes a silicone gasket. With a capacity of 20.3 fluid ounces, the KG02 holds 600 ml of oil for cooking, dressing salads, or finishing a plate at the table.
