Rustic cues and Nordic minimalism come together in perfect harmony in the Edge collection. Designed by Stilleben for Danish brand Skagerak, the range draws inspiration from an unlikely source: the ancient Greek-Egyptian tradition of crafting earthenware. More specifically, the amphora. The Edge terracotta Teapot’s base references the classic vessel’s silhouette, while its ultra-clean lines pay homage to Scandinavian design heritage. To complement the reddish-brown terracotta material, Stilleben used a combination of teak wood and brass for the handle, creating a play on hues and textures. In a similar way to the other products from the same range, the Edge Teapot features a matte finish on the exterior and a glazed surface on the interior.
