Sarah Moutouh (b. 1972) brings a quiet clarity to her furniture design, shaped in part by a strong family connection to Danish design history—she’s the granddaughter of Børge Mogensen. Her own path, though, is distinct. Trained as a clothing designer at the Danish Design School, she’s developed a refined sense of proportion and material that carries through her work. Her first piece for FDB Møbler, the P12 rocking horse, was drawn as a contemporary nod to Mogensen’s children’s furniture from 1946. With a background in both textiles and product design, Moutouh approaches furniture with a sensitivity to use, simplicity, and line—always staying close to the essentials, never far from the human scale.
