Finnish interior architect and designer Samuli Naamanka is well-known for his eco-conscious designs and his ability to blend traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology. In 2000, he graduated with a Master of Arts from the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Helsinki. He founded his own studio, Naamanka, in 2017. Apart from his design work, Samuli Naamanka has also experimented with new materials and techniques. His work led to the development of the groundbreaking Graphic Concrete patterning and coloring technology. Samuli Naamanka’s renowned designs include the award-winning Clash chair and the Uni chair. The designer’s work has received many awards, including the Good Design Award, an EcoDesign Award at Habitare, and the SIO Furniture Designer of the Year award.
