Kasper Salto and Thomas Sigsgaard have been working together since 2003, bringing two different but complementary skill sets into one shared practice. Salto, trained as a cabinetmaker and industrial designer, has a background in furniture rooted in material sensibility and production. Sigsgaard, an architect by training, brings a spatial and sculptural approach to the work. Together, they’ve designed everything from chairs and tables to full-scale interior concepts, including furniture for the UN’s Trusteeship Council Chamber in New York—a space originally designed by Finn Juhl. Their designs feel balanced and purposeful, with an emphasis on detail, scale, and how a piece performs in use.
