Pilgaard Design Studio, founded in 2018 by Esben Pilgaard Joergensen, is a Danish industrial design studio based in Aalborg's Vestby. The studio specializes in the entire product creation process, from concept to final delivery, with a strong emphasis on functionality and purpose. Esben, born in 1991 in Loekken, North Jutland, comes from a family of blacksmiths, instilling in him a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and metalwork from a young age. His passion for design led him to study industrial design at Aalborg University in 2012. Initially launching his own furniture brand known for its craftsmanship and minimalist aesthetics, Esben transitioned to focusing exclusively on Pilgaard Design Studio in 2018 due to growing demand for his expertise. In 2022, he sold his furniture brand to dedicate himself entirely to his studio, ensuring clients receive products that are both beautiful and functional.
