Architect and designer Patrick Knoch studied fine arts in Berlin before attending the Polytechnic School of Zurich. This artistic and rationalist background continuously influences his work. After working as an architect in Switzerland, Patrick Knoch started designing furniture, tableware, and home accessories. In 2014, he opened his own company, Extranorm. Based in Limoges, France, the independent brand produces furniture and tableware with artistic designs. All of the products focus on originality, creativity and sustainability while also following a rigorous approach to design. Patrick Knoch has created a wide range of products for the brand, from playful tableware and illustrated porcelain products to stylish furniture.
